The match between New Belgrade and Partisan had a similar development of the situation as match in Vitez a week ago, between Knight and „Rats“. Today the home team had the power only for the first half which ended in a draw 10-10, both. In the match Partisan dominated the second half and broke the stubborn resistance of „Rats“.
Novi Beograd took the lead in the 15th minute 4-0 by try of Nikša Unković. Stefan Novaković missed the conversion. In the next attack Partisan’s forward Dušan Milutinović score the try and Džavid Jašari added two more points after a successful conversion for 4-6. Novi Beograd recovered after that and came back into the lead after 26th minute. Nikola Radivojević score a try and Stefan Novaković this time was successful. „Rats“ had advantage once again for 10-6. In 34th minute of the match Branko Čarapić scored to make it 10-10 which was the final score of the first half.
In the second part guests scored 7 tries and deservedly reached two important points. At the end Partisan’s deserved victory: Novi Beograd – Partizan 10-48. With this victory Partisan have secured participation in playoffs. Last game against Radnicki Niš will decide only from which position Partisan will enter the fight for the Balkan champion’s title.
